The first snow fell a little while ago (a week or two ...? I can't quite remember. I wanted to wait for thicker snow to make a post of it) and it's still in my mind.
Little shimmerings en twirlers of frosted raindrops came dancing down in Limburg (Belgium) where I was at the time. The birds had gone, found a shelter, and hid silently from these softly bearers of wintertime. The world was silent for a moment or two and it was like Winter softly touched the landscape as it was whispering "I'm coming very soon ... a bit more patience".
