Busy Buzz

Since the IllustrationFriday buzz is all about "buzz" and I'm seeing all these buzzing bees and busy insects, I thought about writing a post in this busy period of my school project.

I've been thinking about my thesis subject for a long time now, and I can't seem to get my head around it in a structured manner. I keep thinking about the end product and not the research that gives a motivation for an end product. But the thing is: you have to define your research through a research question. Which immediately makes you think of solutions. I, for one, am one of those persons who immediately think of a practical solution. Asked for one or not ;). I'll even interrupt people in the middle of their complaining or speech if I come up with a logic solution.

But in this case ... the beginning of my research had nothing to do with my idea for a research question and an end product. I admit it. The end product came to me in sheer excitement and I keep thinking about how it is such a good idea.

Once you have an idea it keeps nagging you know. I can't seem to get rid of it. I keep going to that one idea. My coach suggests I start all over again. In like 1 day because my presentation of my pre-research is thursday. Start over with your thinking in one day AND make a good presentation and paper WITH layout in that SAME day.

Can you believe it?
Aï ... should I go to sleep or not? Because it would save like 8 hours of working, thinking, brainstorming, ... and utter sleep deprivement might (I said MIGHT) just make the difference.
I need a small miracle. Hopefully the new morning brings me better days, too.
